This weekend the weather was great and we took a little tour of the Lakes.
The route took us:
up the M6 to Penrith
down to Keswick
round Derwent Water
quick detour to Ashness Bridge
through Seatoller and over the Honister Pass
past Buttermere and Crummock Water
a quick detour to Loweswater
back to Keswick and then down past Thirlmere
a quick stop in Grasmere, past Grasmere Lake then round Rydal Water
a look at Mr Wordsworth's daffodils in Dora's Field
through Ambleside and past Lake Windermere
then home
