Things have been quiet on the blog recently for one simple reason: we have been moving house.
It wasn't something we've been planning for a long time. In fact it was a bit of good chance. In early October Lindsey, bored by a dull phone call, started Googling and stumbled on a promising house. We popped round the same evening to have a look at the outside, and were immediately welcomed by the neighbours. It was a memorable early autumn evening and the sky was scarlet. We viewed the house a couple of days later and, having decided it was perfect for us, made an offer which was accepted. Since then everything has gone more or less to plan.
The house is in the pretty village of Over Kellet, a few miles north of Lancaster. We haven't quite moved in yet but that should all be complete in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space!
