So, there's an awful lot of doom and gloom around at the moment but we are now officially in Spring. The sun is shining, it's warmer, the days are longer and there are flowers and greenery everywhere.
I was browsing the bookshelves today for suitable reading material, and came across Malcolm Saville's Spring Comes to Nettleford.
This is a lovely read, perfect for a day like today.
I have a couple of editions of the book with two different dustwrappers. Both are evocative of Spring.
As well as a walk by the sea and a spot of Spring cleaning, I have enjoyed immersing myself in a jolly good read. I'm looking forward to the world returning to normal, but for now, books are an excellent escape!
