We were so delighted that Pot Fest 2020 was able to go ahead, in the grounds of Hutton-in-the-Forest, near Penrith. With cancellations of so many events and festivals, we wondered if there would be a festival this year. Pot Fest is a wonderful, eclectic exhibition of ceramics and pottery from all over the UK.
The ceramics festival takes place in and around marquees on the park land in front of the castle. The potters special competition pieces being displayed on the lawn, juxtaposing ancient architecture and modern ceramics.
Pot Fest was wonderful, we saw such a lot of interesting work and purchased a few items, as well. We bought two beautiful autumnal bowls and an exquisite occasional table. Just as we were leaving we spotted some ceramic miniatures and just had to have them! We think they look excellent on our bedroom wall.
