This weekend, Pot Fest returned to Hutton in the Forest and, in glorious weather, we strolled amongst the hundreds of exhibitors.
We would normally head off to Up Front Gallery for lunch, but they seemed to be in the midst of a COVID pingdemic when I phoned to book a table. So, instead we decided to have afternoon tea at Larch Cottage Nurseries at Melkinthorpe.
We sat on the balcony overlooking the gardens and afterwards, wandered around the magnificent gardens enjoying the plants and the ruins.
We promised ourselves a return visit, when the chapel and private gardens are open, and when it's a little cooler!
