The Main Street Trading Company combines a bookshop with a deli and café - absolute heaven.
We enjoyed some coffee and carrot cake sat outside in the courtyard and then mooched around the bookshop and the deli for a very jolly hour or so.
There is a fabulous selection of books, all carefully curated by the owners. We came away with a couple of bulging carrier bags of swag! Some recently published books, as well as a couple that had passed us by during COVID, and the lack of "real" bookshops.
The Deli has an equally eclectic mix of food and homewares. We treated ourselves to some local cheese and chutneys as well as a couple of bottles of wine.
The Main Street Trading Company is located in St Boswells, a very pretty town with lots of other shops and amenities. Well worth a visit!
