Last week we spent a magical evening at Levens Hall, revelling in their Christmas Fair. Fortunately the weather was freezing and this added to the Christmassey atmosphere.
The Hall looked wonderful, with the main rooms of the Hall decorated beautifully for the festive season. The topiary gardens were also beautifully lit and the trees looked so different from in the daylight!
There were stalls selling a range of items in the garden and, even though it was freezing cold, we browsed and picked up some Spiced Goosnargh Gin, pickles and jam as well as some local cheese and a few bath products.
Our evening was completed with mulled wine and hot coffee in Levens Kitchen.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable pre-Christmas treat which got us in the mood for the week before Christmas.
