This year we kicked off with a visit to the Preston Playhouse, somewhere I have never been before, to enjoy a rousing production of HMS Pinafore.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, humming and singing along to some of our favourite music and songs.
To add to the enjoyment, we had a pre-theatre meal at the Italian Orchard. This has been on our list of restaurants to visit for years, and we were very pleasantly surprised with the food and the ambience. We will definitely be returning.
