Halecat House is a historic house in south Cumbria. The current owner has created some imaginative uses for the house and the surrounding buildings, including a number of artists studios, holiday accommodation and a plant centre. Last weekend we visited the estate to enjoy an open studios day, where we could wander through the studios and engage with the artists, as well as having a good walk around the grounds.
