We were so lucky with the weather for this year's Pot Fest at Huton in the Forest. We planned for rain but instead the sun shone, the sky was blue and it was quite warm, for North Cumbria!
We spent a few hours having a good mooch around the 100 stalls selling a huge variety of ceramics and pottery. We also enjoyed the potters’ special competition pieces displayed on the lawns in front of the house, juxtaposing ancient architecture and modern ceramics.

Afterwards we had a late lunch at the wonderful Up Front Gallery and browsed the exhibition of paintings and, yet more pottery.
