Snow and Ice

This week we had some unexpected weather. It’s been bitterly cold, with snow and ice which stuck around for a week or so.

We were quite excited when it started: doesn’t the snow look pretty on the Lakeland hills?

However, as the week went on the snow reached our level and decided to stay for several days. It soon became quite disruptive as we had to alter our plans to fit around the weather.

By the end of the week when it started melting we had become tired of it and were glad to see the back of it.

It soon started raining, washing away the last of the snow. And so we had some different weather to complain about.
