Saturday afternoon took us to Keswick to enjoy a great performance by Dyad Productions at the Theatre by the Lake. Before the show we had a lovely meal in the theatre’s bistro.
But first, thanks to the longer days we now have, we walked down to Derwentwater to catch the spectacular view in the last of the daylight.

The one-woman performance was absolutely captivating. Rebecca Vaughan really became Virginia Woolf as she led us through the history of women in literature from Aphra Behn to Jane Austen and beyond. Part monologue, part acting, she brought everything to life perfectly.
