I love marmalade, it’s my go to breakfast preserve. So, imagine my delight when we visited Dalemain Mansion and discovered a marmalade shop!
Every year Dalemain hosts the World Marmalade Awards and the winning marmalade is guaranteed a place in Fortnum and Mason's Food Hall.
My choice from the selection of marmalades available was the Bishop's Marmalade, a heady and delicious concoction of quince and lemon. Yummy!
I think that Paddington would definitely approve of Dalemain.
