We popped up to Blackwell today for a spot of lunch and a mooch around the Autumn Craft Fair.
I love Blackwell and can never visit enough. The views from the windows are amazing, and on an autumnal afternoon, Lake Windermere looked particularly stunning.
The Craft Fair included some really interesting arts and crafts. John Ruskin and William Morris would definitely have been impressed with the items on show and for sale.
We were tempted by quite a few items, but only succumbed to a beautiful and simple framed sketch of a tree.
There were a couple of pieces that we wanted, but need to work out where they would go in the house.
As the Fair is on all weekend, we might find time to pop back and make some more purchases.
