After an exhilarating walk along the shores of Lake Windermere, we returned to Wray Castle, to enjoy a hot coffee at Joey’s Café.
Joey’s is always one of our favourite pre or post walk destinations. At Wray Castle Joey’s there is always interesting art as well as lots of information about the Castle, and its famous owners and visitors.
Today, I was really interested in a number of engravings of the Castle and the Lake that the National Trust has collated into their booklet.
