We always seek out interesting churches - everything from tiny village churches to huge cathedrals. On our journey from Stratford-upon-Avon we had an example of both.
In the grounds of Billesley Manor is All Saints' Church. The present building is from 1692, although there was a church on this site from the 11th century.
Tradition has it that Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway in the church

We left the church and made our way to Worcester to see its medieval cathedral. Throughout this vast building there are detailed carvings - wood, stone, marble - everywhere.
