The lighter evenings mean that we can 'do things' at the end of our working day. On Friday we decided to spend an hour or so exploring Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. Built in the 20th century, it was designed in the neo-Gothic style by Gilbert Giles Scott, a prolific architect whose other designs include Battersea Power Station and the iconic red telephone box.
The Cathedral is the largest in the UK and the eighth largest in the world. When you stand inside it, you truly feel insignificant!
