Today was fairly wet and cold - as much of the summer has been so far - and we decided that an indoor activity was needed. A return to the De Morgan exhibition at the beautiful Blackwell Arts and Crafts House overlooking Windermere was called for.
As well as the exhibition we also had the opportunity to admire again the detailed craftsmanship that was incorporated into the house when it was built, in 1898, as a holiday home for Sir Edward Holt, owner of the Manchester brewery that bears his name.
