Having only discovered it properly last year, we absolutely love Acorn Bank garden in east Cumbria. There is so much going on all year round and it is different each time we go. It has a charming informality, so different from the rows of pretty flowers you see in other gardens.
Since our last visit, the apples and pears are almost ready, the flowers are colourful and attracting pollinators and other parts of the garden are looking a bit overblown.
