Immersive Van Gogh in York

One of the highlights of our trip to York was the Immersive Van Gogh experience. This was very different from the experience we enjoyed in the summer in Liverpool. Whilst that took place in a huge, rectangular exhibition space, York’s version took place in a 15th century church.

This provided a lovely setting: much smaller and more intimate than Liverpool’s, and with rows of deckchairs where visitors could rest and soak up the experience, the church really suited the artistic journey.

The show included classical music throughout which perfectly suited the setting.

All in all a very different interpretation than the one we saw in Liverpool a few months ago.
